Disambiguation link notification for April 10
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited IIT Bombay, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Director. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
- Uh! I didn't noticed that. My bad. Sorry for that. Sneha04 06:38, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
Some unsolicited advice
[edit]Hi Sneha04, I have noticed you were having a discussion that's heating up with another user, and thus wanted to give some advice to you. I hope I am not overstepping with this message, and hope it will help somehow. Please let me know in either case, or if you have any questions.
Removing talk page messages on ones own user talk page is absolutely fine and shouldn't be reverted actually. I can understand how that can be frustrating and in some cases leaves discussions at an unresolved end. If you do find yourself in such situation, it's usually best to just leave it, or else seek assistance from someone uninvolved e.g. at one of the admin boards. It appears to me that in this specific case the user has expressed the wish to no longer being contacted by you. Please do respect that wish and don't post replies on their talk page. The only situation where it would make sense to still post a message is to inform them about a noticeboard discussion they may be involved in. – NJD-DE (talk) 21:44, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- Uh I got you. I have looked at Wikipedia:Centralized discussion/Removing warnings and realized that the mistake was mine. Sneha04 💬 02:16, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Njd-de have a look at my talk page history [1] and I am looking at you as a third party to advice the user involved since I encountered Uncivil behaviour and don't want to message more. Sneha04 💬 07:27, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- I am not planning to get myself too involved in this, and do have to admit that I haven't checked either of your edits. I will leave them a note however regarding removal of talk page messages. – NJD-DE (talk) 09:29, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- Ok! No Problem, Then I will take it to ANI myself. Cheers, keep up your good works. Sneha04 💬 09:38, 9 May 2022 (UTC)

Economy of India
[edit]Heya! Seems like providing correct information according to the reference link source(world poverty clock) is referred to by you as "edit war". I accept that I used a few harsh words and I won't do that in future but it simply doesn't mean that my edit was wrong. And warning someone to be blocked from editing for providing correct information is not there in Wiki guidelines ig. I always wish to provide correct information and try not to engage in/encourage such wars. Hope you must have understood my point. Ruk469 (talk) 05:25, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- The source clearly states 6% different from your edit [2] of 8% . Here is the source, check it again [3] So it was not factually correct. And reminding of Edit War is in Wikipedia's guidelines. I appreciate your behaviour unlike the other Editor your were involved in.
- Happy Editing, Sneha04 💬 05:40, 9 May 2022 (UTC)

Essays and failed policy proposals are not policies
[edit]Hi Sneha04, on this page here and in a recent edit summary, you're linking to an essay ("WP:ONLYREVERT") and to a failed policy proposal ("Wikipedia:Centralized discussion/Removing warnings") as if these pages had any authoritative meaning. They don't; please don't do this.
Policies and guidelines are marked by green/blue checkmark icons at the top, and are explicitly described as such. For example, there is the edit warring policy (green) and the talk pages guideline (blue).
Best regards,

Vandalism on Commonwealth Games articles
[edit]I don't remember being a vandal on the Commonwealth Games articles. Where did you get the idea that I vandalised those articles?--Hongqilim (talk) 12:37, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
- What should one regard this edit? [4] You vandalised by changing random numbers from air. Sneha04 💬 13:03, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, if this is what Wikipedia define Vandalism, then I apologise for what I did. But the way you inform me was so sudden that I don't remember what I did at those times. Are you applying to become a reviewer or an admin here? I mean the evidence you showed to me was five years ago. Revert it is fine, but why did you accuse me all of a sudden?--Hongqilim (talk) 13:16, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
- I did right thing, all editors across all Wikimedia Platforms are bound to provide a meaningful edit summary for their edits! And I am not an exception! And Ofcourse, you don't have to worry about my ambition on EN wikipedia platform. You did wrong and should have no room to speak on! Vandalism simply means obstructing a project purpose deliberately by introducing random numbers and you blatantly committed such which I calculated and the previous version stands out to be correct! It doesn't matter 6 years back or 10 years! You did wrong and was addressed through edit summary! I could put warning template on your talk page following this but I refrained from that! And now if you continue this on my talk page, you gonna appear in relevant platform for sure. I always welcome co-operation but I call Vandalism what it is regarded in WP:PG and Disruptive editing is obviously different from what you had done. Sneha04 💬 13:33, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
- Really?! Goodness, I wish you would have did that long ago. Why don't you just report to an admin already?--Hongqilim (talk) 13:47, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
- It's ok. I have reported you to the admins.--Hongqilim (talk) 06:23, 8 August 2022 (UTC)

Come on, Get real!
[edit]Are you living in a world of fantasy? Why are you fantasising yourself as an admin when you are just a less than a year User. I've been editing here for years in peace and you are the first user to accuse me as a vandal. Don't you think this is ridiculous? What is your problem anyway? Do you need any help? If old edits can be labelled as vandalism, then what am I even doing here?--Hongqilim (talk) 01:28, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- I will do what I can to prove that your accusations are unfounded and hold you responsible for what you said and did to me.--Hongqilim (talk) 06:18, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
India at the Commonwealth Games
[edit]Those results I added after a lot of research and analyse of various sources. In the official sites of Commonwealth Games there are some mistakes in all time medal table of India. Silverdragon3002 (talk) 12:26, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
- I was thinking to put a Warning message on your talk page. You have continued blatant vandalism and are being reverted! And for your information one must follow verifiable citations provided that of Offical Website, wikipedia doesn't allow Original research. You have actually changed all page datas under Wikiproject Commonwealth which is considered as disruptive editing. Follow Wikipedia's Policies and Guidelines and take a look at Original Research. Sneha04 💬 12:36, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
- And from the next time use talk pages of respective Pages as this is not the right place for such discussion. Sneha04 💬 12:40, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
- First of all usage of Signature followed by talk is necessity for all editors across all wikimedia platforms, you must know that! Secondly I told that such discussion must take place on respective talk pages. Next time you do so, will be considered as Harassment and ANI is there to take action. Thirdly, it is being repeated again, Wikipedia is not the publisher of your original thoughts and Wikipedia cites Primary Sources with most priority followed by secondary and tertiary! Under Wikiproject Commonwealth Commonwealth website is considered as primary here See, WP:IDENTIFYPRIMARY. Read policies and WP:OR again mentioned above. Sneha04 💬 14:20, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
- https://olympics.com/en/news/india-at-commonwealth-games the official website of olympics state that india have won 503 medals(the no of all medals of three colours also the same according to my research), which is correct as per my research. So you decide what to do?? Infact i think Olympics official site itself used my edited wikipedia page so if they officially agreed it then what is the problem?::
- Let's talk about the vandalism matter, shall we?--Hongqilim (talk) 16:19, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
- I want to make sure you don't run away from your responsiblities. Don't run, face them like a man!--Hongqilim (talk) 06:25, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
If Wikipedia gives you power to supervise articles
[edit]Just do it. Go ahead and try to stop me.--Hongqilim (talk) 04:20, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- Think you are a powerful user? Prove to the admins you are! Don't say I didn't tell you, You cannot take my freedoms away!--Hongqilim (talk) 06:00, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- If you can convince the admins or the whole Wikipedia community that you follow the rules, that would be nice. But I am not convinced you are the powerful user you claim yourself to be.--Hongqilim (talk) 06:09, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
Sneha04, be a man and face your responsibilities!
[edit]THANK YOU! Because, no matter how you hide, your messages will still be visible across Wikipedia!--Hongqilim (talk) 06:55, 8 August 2022 (UTC)

- Why bother other people's business when you can mind your own?--Hongqilim (talk) 07:53, 8 August 2022 (UTC)

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:56, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
