Meet the press
[edit]i did reed that "Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits"
you could just edit it to be good. I did try point pattern, because last time complaim was no source. If i link only one youtube video, then there is no pattern. So how i should put those citations? Please fix my edit to be good to you, sources have been provided 2001:14BB:67F:DF14:4454:D21B:C08A:ABA9 (talk) 00:01, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, @2001:14BB:67F:DF14:4454:D21B:C08A:ABA9. Rollback is a 'user right', which is granted by an Administrator and allows multiple edits to be removed at once. You're correct, this right should only be used to remove vandalism. However, I do not have that user right. All I did was revert a single edit; that's not 'rollback'.
- The reason I reverted the edit was because I couldn't see any value in linking to all those individual episodes from October/November 2024. Imagine someone reading the article in two years time: what value would those links have to them? Their content would be very out of date. In any case, episodes are probably only on YouTube for a relatively short time so our reader in 2026 could well find that the links were dead anyway. Neiltonks (talk) 08:55, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
Reminder to participate in Wikipedia research
[edit]Hello,
I recently invited you to take a survey about administration on Wikipedia. If you haven’t yet had a chance, there is still time to participate– we’d truly appreciate your feedback. The survey is anonymous and should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement.
Take the survey here.
Kind Regards,

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
