[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Jacinta Allan", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it impersonates an Australian politician who is currently Victorian premier named Jacinta Allan. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. [edit]Hello @Fork99, this is the official account of Premier Jacinta Allan MP. This is not an impersonation account. The Premier will post about her Wikipedia edits online shortly, I can also provide an email to verify the account status if required. Thanks, Team JA. - No worries, that's completely fine. Since the Premier's office as a whole has a conflict of interest with these sorts of articles, please have a quick read of that link I just provided. Thanks, Fork99 (talk) 04:27, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks @Fork99, I have made a declaration in the notes section. Jacinta Allan (talk) 06:06, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- Welcome Premier, and thank you for declaring your conflict of interest. I've cleaned up the declaration message box on the talk page and also linked to your Instagram video to indicate to other contributors that this isn't an impersonator account. – Pizza1016 (talk | contribs) 08:56, 15 January 2024 (UTC)

Photograph
[edit]Hello to the Premier’s office!
If you have a look at the page for Jacinta Allan, the photo that’s there for her is pretty bad. Would it be possible for you to find a good photo of her to upload to Wikimedia commons? GraziePrego (talk) 10:33, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Jacinta Allan further to this, would the copyright restrictions placed on content from the BigBuild website be changed to allow images published on the website to be released into the public domain? This would greatly assist in increasing the quality of the articles as well as allowing Wikipedians to use the images in the public domain as they have been produced using our tax dollars. This is especially prevalent for (as pointed out) the Jacinta Allan article where the quality of the image is not good compared to those images that the government possesses. - Hello @GraziePrego, thanks for the suggestion.
- An updated image has been released to Wikimedia Commons: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Victorian_Premier_Jacinta_Allan.jpg Jacinta Allan (talk) 02:15, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
- Fantastic! For the userbox, it may be better to crop it a little so it just shows the Premier? Great photo though. The photo is usually a portrait rectangle on people's pages, see Monique Ryan for instance. GraziePrego (talk) 02:16, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, this has been updated. Jacinta Allan (talk) 02:23, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
- Wonderful. Thank you very much! GraziePrego (talk) 02:24, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Jacinta Allan thank you for this and thank you @GraziePrego for the suggestion... it makes the article look significantly better. It definitely increases the quality, similar to the article for Anthony Albanese. If discussion was to ever come up about releasing all government taken photos into the public domain (like in the US) the Wikipedia community would be highly grateful.
