This Talk Page

If you leave a message for me here, I will probably reply on your talk page unless you ask me not to do so,

Trying to follow discussions between users can be important, and it becomes so much easier to work out who said what to whom, when and why if those discussions are available in one place.

If I leave a message, or a reply to you on your User talk page, I will reflect that here to keep the record of our discussions less fragmented.

Copy of Draft:Edith_Vernes

[edit]

Hello, I subbmited my Draft of a Wikipedia page of Edith Vernes, but got my submission rejected & deleted beacause of a lack of neutrality. I would like to have a copy of the deleted draft in order to re-write it and have it proof read before publishing it again. Could you provide me a copy to my user page ? Thank you in advance ! Benjamin Karaoglan (talk) 15:40, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have restored this Draft to User:Benjamin_Karaoglan/sandbox. Hope that is of use to you, best wishes. --Cactus.man 09:49, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Technical news

  • Global blocks may now target accounts as well as IP's. Administrators may locally unblock when appropriate.
  • Users wishing to permanently leave may now request "vanishing" via Special:GlobalVanishRequest. Processed requests will result in the user being renamed, their recovery email being removed, and their account being globally locked.

PRODs

Hello, Cactus.man,

When you delete an article that is tagged for Proposed Deletion, please also delete the article talk page and any redirects there are, to the article and talk page. The recent article on Stadion Zürich left behind both the talk page and lots of broken redirects. If you use Twinkle to do your page deletions, it will take care of talk pages and redirects for you. Then, the only thing you need to check are redirects to the article talk page which Twinkle doesn't handle (for unknown reasons). Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 23:40, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to participate in a research

[edit]

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.

You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .

Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

WMF Research Team
