The signal reliably covers the Virginia cities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Poquoson, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, Portsmouth, Williamsburg, Chesapeake, Franklin, and the Virginia counties of Isle of Wight, James City, Accomack, Surry, Sussex and York. Reception is also reliable in the North Carolina counties of Camden, Currituck, Gates, Perquimans, Hertford, and Pasquotank.

During the 2016-17 season, ASN will televise live events from the following NCAA Division I conferences:
In addition to the above conferences, ASN acquired the rights to University of Massachusetts Minutemen football games for the 2016 season.[22] ASN also has the rights to the D2 Game of the Week and will televise NCAA Division II football and men's and women's basketball on their network during 2016-17.[23]
