Origin of my User Name

[edit]

They say work defines us. The conditions of my recent employment are described succintly in the poem "The Boundary Rider" by Thomas William Heney. I paraphrase thus,

"She rides in a vacant land, and in leagues of Maireana plain,

Seeks day after day for change, and seeks it ever in vain.

In her hands her life each morn as she climbs to her vinyl seat,

Woe to her if she fails..."

P.S. It's not about football.
