Teacup is an 2024 American horror television series created by Ian McCulloch and inspired by the novel Stinger by Robert R. McCammon.
The first season premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 22, 2024, and is scheduled to premiere on Peacock on October 10, 2024 with eight half-hour episodes.[1]
Premise
[edit]On an isolated ranch in rural Georgia, several people are forced together to face a mysterious threat.

Production

[edit]In December 2022, it was announced Peacock had given a straight-to-series order to a contemporary horror series from Ian McCulloch and James Wan.[5] E. L. Katz is slated to direct the opening episode.[5]
Casting
[edit]In February 2024, it was announced Yvonne Strahovski had been cast in the series, now known as Teacup, as Maggie Chenoweth.[6] Scott Speedman was cast that same month to star opposite Strahovski.[7]
Release
[edit]The series is scheduled to premiere on Peacock on October 10, 2024.[1]
