Probably more famous than the other two. "Xiao He made and broke him."(成也萧何, 败也萧何). It was referring the relationship between Xiao He and Han Xin. Xiao He made him the commander of Liu Bang's army, yet he also set up the trap that led to Han Xin's execution. Later it refers to somebody's success and demise were caused by the same person/thing. E.g. Low price is the key to Walmart's success, but it also caused Walmart to be well hated.
