Thiru. Vi Ka was a Thuluva Vellala
[edit]Below references establish Thiru Vi Ka was born in Vellalar community
1. The political career of E.V. Ramasami Naicker: a study in the politics of Tamil Nadu, 1920-1949 by Ī. Ca Vicuvanātan̲: Page 32 “T. V. Kalyanasundara Mudaliar (1883-1953) a Vellala Tamil scholar and one of the MPA secretaries”
2. Historical Dictionary of the Tamils By Vijaya Ramaswamy, Jawaharlal Nehru University: Page No 182 Clearly says he was a Vellalar “ KALYANASUNDARAM, THIRU V. (1883–1953). Kalyanasundaram was born in 1883 into a Vellalar (agriculturist) family of Tiruvaroor...”
3. Below reference from the book: CULTURAL ASPIRATIONS Essays on the Intellectual History of the Colonial Tamil Nadu by A. Gangatharan indirectly says he was a Vellalar and following Saivism “ Thiru V. Kalyanasundaranar also was criticized for his allegiance to Saivism, which created differences between Smartha Brahmins and the Vellala Savites.”(Since Thiru Vi Ka was a Vellalar, his allegiance to Shaivism created those differences between the community he belongs to and Brahmins — Preceding unsigned comment added by Srivatsarcot1 (talk • contribs) 13:21, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
Thuluva Vellalar
[edit]Why including Agamudaiyar in Thuluva Vellalar? Tirukodimadachengunrur (talk) 04:33, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Kanakaraya Mudali was a Tuluva Vellala
[edit]Kanakaraya Mudali’s grandfather Thanappa Mudaliar (converted to Christianity and took the name Lazaro de Mota) was from Poonamalee. In fact they belong to Poonamalee Mudaliars community, a sub-section of Tuluva Vellalar. Do not remove this notable dubashi from the page with an alleged lie that he was a weaver --Srivatsarcot1 (talk) 06:47, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Dubious sourcing
[edit]Among the many dubious sources that have appeared in this article, we are flat-out suggesting that M. Arokiaswami. The Early History of the Vellar Basin, with Special Reference to the Irukkuvels of Kodumbalur: A Study in Vellala Origin and Early History. Amudha Nilayam, 1954. p. 36. verifies something which in fact is disputed. I can't find my opy of Burton's Stein's Peasant State and Society in Medieval South India at the moment but I know he disputed much of what Arokiaswami claims. There is no harm in mentioning the Arokiaswami opinion, of course, but we should also be showing that it is contested. - Sitush (talk) 09:10, 6 July 2020 (UTC)

Agamudayar/Tuluva vellala same community.
[edit]Before making edits be sure that you people know that Agamudayar and Tuluva vellala are same community and hardcore pure Tamil people not someone who migrated from Tulu Nadu. Karthikhlindian (talk) 12:55, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
