There have been many initiatives and changes under Mayor Duggan. "Project Green Light", the Building of Little Ceasars Arena, and the non-building of the promised District Detroit, the removal of blighted buildings, the endangering of resident health by the removal of blighted buildings, the run-up in the cost per house demolished, the summer 2018 no demolition zones, the back room deal in which former school buildings were kept out of the hands of charter schools, forcing charters to continue in sub-standard quarters while old DPS buildings began to deteriorate and become neighborhood eyesores, and of course more indepth coverage of the reason why anyone cares about the mayors affair (specifically it appears it has lead to misaproprriation of funds) among many other things is worth covering.John Pack Lambert (talk) 22:19, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Johnpacklambert: Feel free to add sourced information that has a clear relevance/connection to Duggan. Keep in mind, not everything that happened in Detroit during his mayoralty is necessarily connected to Duggan. For instance, Q-Line opened up, but that had been planned and funded before he took office, so he really cannot be credited with having had any of his fingerprints on that project. Particularly since his power was limited by the bankruptcy and state oversight of the city, much that went on in the city did not necessarily originate, or even run through, his desk.
