Letterman

[edit]

Grodin does a fine job verbally jousting with Dave Letterman on Letterman's weeknight show. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.50.0.72 (talk) 05:28, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Best seller?

[edit]

In the article it states that Grodin is a 'best-selling' author. I don't think that his books were best-sellers on any list I've seen. Whoever added the sentence 'best-selling' please give some justification for it, such as a mention of a best-selling list on which it appeared, or else you may one day find that I have removed the adjective! "It Would Be So Nice If You Weren't Here" is mentioned as a best-seller on numerous sites, though I couldnt find anything official like the NY Times or Publishers Weekly, It's written on Grodin's recent book jackets, I cant say if this resolves the issue. Inconsistency with Infamous moments in Saturday Night Live history article

[edit]

Under "Career": "In 1977, Grodin hosted an episode of the NBC sketch show, Saturday Night Live. He and the writers decided beforehand to play the show as if he had missed dress rehearsals and was clumsily ad-libbing his way through his sketches." However, the Infamous moments in Saturday Night Live history article seems to indicate that this was not planned. Could someone who knows which of these is wrong please fix it. (Similar comment on the dicussion page for the other article.) Tugbug 22:24, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Talk Show not Mentioned

[edit]

Grodin did a very good late night network TV talk show that was not mentioned. Not sure of the dates. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.94.28.52 (talk) 23:58, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

Feel like we could do with a picture of him as most people remember him in the 1970s or 1980s, not as an old man. 92.233.206.142 (talk) 00:07, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
