North Yorkshire was created on 1 April 1974, before that date Cawood was in the West Riding of Yorkshire. Keith D (talk) 01:12, 9 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As it is a civil parish then the village of Cawood is in the civil parish of Cawood. Keith D (talk) 12:39, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
