National Highway 55 (Previously NH42) is a National Highway in India connecting Sambalpur and Paradeep in Indian state of Odisha.[1] Starting from NH 53 in Maneswar, Sambalpur, it terminates at NH 53 in Paradeep.[2] it is also known as Cuttack - Sambalpur Highway. Before renumbering of national highways of India, route of NH-55 was part of old national highway 42.[3] This national highway is 352 km (219 mi) long.[4] It acts as a alternate route of NH 53 between Sambalpur & Paradeep

NH55 connects Maneswar at Sambalpur, Redhakhol, Boinda, Badakera, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and terminates at Paradeep in the state of Odisha.[2]
