The Maxus eTerron 9 is an electric pickup truck produced by Chinese automaker Maxus since 2024.
It was presented on 17 September 2024 at the IAA Transportation in Hanover,[1][2] announcing its arrival on the European market.[3][4]
Overview
[edit]The eTerron 9 offers a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes and a payload of 620 kg (1,370 lb) in its 1.7 m (5 ft 7 in) long rear dump body,[5] which extends to 2.4 with the tailgate down. It offers an electrically opening frunk (front trunk) with a capacity of 236 dm3 with 2 integrated seats.[6]
Powertrain
[edit]The truck is equipped with two electric motors (125 kW (168 hp) at the front and 200 kW (270 hp) at the rear) for a combined power of 325 kW (436 hp), powered by a LFP battery with a capacity of 102 kWh (370 MJ).[7] It supports direct current (DC) fast charging up to 115 kW (154 hp), allowing it to go from 20% to 80% in 40 minutes.[8]
