The 2024–25 season is the 118th season in Al Ahly's history and the 57th consecutive season in the Premier League. In addition to the domestic league, Al Ahly is set to compete in the Egyptian League Cup, the CAF Champions League, the Egyptian Super Cup, the FIFA Intercontinental Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

The club will not be participating in the domestic cup competition, as it had withdrawn from the previous season's edition.[1]
