Hello, ladies, look at your Page, now back to mine, now back at your page, now back to me. Sadly, it isn’t mine, but if it stopped using semi-protection and switched to allowing vandalism, it could look like it’s mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re on an online encyclopaedia with the page your page could look like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an oyster with two links to that thing you love. Look again, the links are now diamonds! Anything is possible when your page is open and not semi-protected. I’m on a template. |

Isaiah Mustafa (born February 11, 1974)[1] is an American actor[2] and former practice squad wide receiver in the NFL.[3] Hello, ladies, look at your Page, now back to mine, now back at your page, now back to me. Sadly, it isn’t mine, but if it stopped using semi-protection and switched to allowing vandalism, it could look like it’s mine. Look down, back up, where are you? Career
Mustafa played basketball and ran track at Santa Clara High School in Oxnard, California.[3] He did not play high school football but tried out for Moorpark College's football team hoping for an athletic scholarship[4] and became a free safety, then a wide receiver, with a scholarship.[3][4]
Mustafa started for Arizona State but had an unspecified "confrontation" with a coach and was benched his senior year. Expecting to become a high school teacher after graduation, a sports agent suggested that Mustafa try out for NFL teams. The Tennessee Titans signed him to the practice squad, then sent him to NFL Europe's Barcelona Dragons in 1998.[3] After playing for the Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns' practice squads in 1999,[5] he attended the Seattle Seahawks' training camp in 2000.[5][6]
He gained sudden fame in February 2010 as the result of a popular Old Spice TV commercial, The Man Your Man Could Smell Like, and other commercials featuring his monologues.[7][8][9][10]
Subsequently, a three-day session created a series of humorous, personalized YouTube videos, with Mustafa reprising the character from the original Old Spice commercial. These were directed at members of the public and celebrities, who had asked him questions on websites such as Reddit, Facebook and Twitter.[11][12]
Mustafa recently signed a talent deal with NBC due to the attention he garnered from the commercial, and has been cast in Jennifer Aniston's upcoming film "Horrible Bosses".[13][14]
Personal life
Mustafa studied history at Arizona State University[8] after attending Moorpark College and, in 2000, owned a restaurant called Jo Jo's Barbecue on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles[5] that closed in less than six months.[4] He is friends with Jake Plummer, with whom he played football at Arizona State.[8] Mustafa is a vegan.[15]
Mustafa is a comic book fan, with Spider-Man and Batman among his favorites. His knowledge of Doctor Doom's first name accidentally helped him win $47,000 on The Weakest Link for a question on the first name of Doctor Frankenstein; the money helped him pursue his post-restaurant goal of becoming an actor.[4] Mustafa named his daughter in reference to the Batman character Hayley Fitzpatrick. He has expressed interest in playing comic book superhero Luke Cage.[16]
