- (offensive) A person living in Eastern Europe where the standard of living is lower than in the West.
- (offensive, by extension) Any European person, the implication being that all of Europe now has the living standards once associated with the poorest countries, or much lower than some non-European countries, especially the US.
- A European person without much money.
