Warai.gif
It seems to have been deleted. Do we have it upload again, or is it not licensed? --日本穣 00:30, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
- It's not that it wasn't licensed, probably because it wasn't being used in the article namespace, though I thought I fixed that. Oh well, this one will do, thanks. I'll be back on in another week or so. freshgavinΓΛĿЌ 03:50, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Key articles for Wikipedia 1.0
Hello! We at the Work via WikiProjects team for Wikipedia 1.0 would like you to identify the "key articles" from your project that should be included in offline releases of Wikipedia based on their importance, regardless of quality. We will use that information to assess which articles should be nominated for Version 1.0 (not yet open) and later versions. Hopefully it will also help you identify which articles are the most important for the project to work on. As well, please add to your Arts WikiProject article table any articles of quality articles|high quality]]. If you are interested in developing a worklist such as this one for your WikiProject, or having a bot generate a worklist automatically for you, please contact us. Please feel free to post your suggestions right here. Thanks! Walkerma 06:09, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- Since this project is basically a subset of Wikipedia:WikiProject_Japan (in that the subject matter of this project could be fully enclosed by the scope of the larger project, though work on the two is essentially divided) it may be more productive to develop a list through the parent project. It will certainly get a lot more input from editors. Regardless, I will make note of which articles within the scope of this project would be considered the most important. Thanks for the heads-up. freshofftheufoΓΛĿЌ 01:33, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks! We will be recontacting the Japan project later on (perhaps in a month or two), but the group can start considering some of the issues now. You can write a template that includes categories within a subject area, as with the Version 0.5 template, {{V0.5}}. Let us know if there is anything we can do, or if you come up with any lists. Thanks, Walkerma 03:52, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Project directory
Hello. The WikiProject Council has recently updated the Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Directory. This new directory includes a variety of categories and subcategories which will, with luck, potentially draw new members to the projects who are interested in those specific subjects. Please review the directory and make any changes to the entries for your project that you see fit. There is also a directory of portals, at User:B2T2/Portal, listing all the existing portals. Feel free to add any of them to the portals or comments section of your entries in the directory. The three columns regarding assessment, peer review, and collaboration are included in the directory for both the use of the projects themselves and for that of others. Having such departments will allow a project to more quickly and easily identify its most important articles and its articles in greatest need of improvement. If you have not already done so, please consider whether your project would benefit from having departments which deal in these matters. It is my hope that all the changes to the directory can be finished by the first of next month. Please feel free to make any changes you see fit to the entries for your project before then. If you should have any questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you. B2T2 15:21, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
New templates/Infoboxes
I've just about completed a template kombi article with an infobox. I guess it's mostly intended for Japanese users, to make it easier for them to create simple accurate articles and help populate the articles of famous kombi (I'll do one for individuals as well). It's over here for the moment, and I'll fix it up over the next few days before I post something over on the Japanese wiki. If anybody's paying attention, and you've got comments, let me know. freshofftheufoΓΛĿЌ 06:59, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia Day Awards
Hello, all. It was initially my hope to try to have this done as part of Esperanza's proposal for an appreciation week to end on Wikipedia Day, January 15. However, several people have once again proposed the entirety of Esperanza for deletion, so that might not work. It was the intention of the Appreciation Week proposal to set aside a given time when the various individuals who have made significant, valuable contributions to the encyclopedia would be recognized and honored. I believe that, with some effort, this could still be done. My proposal is to, with luck, try to organize the various WikiProjects and other entities of wikipedia to take part in a larger celebrartion of its contributors to take place in January, probably beginning January 15, 2007. I have created yet another new subpage for myself (a weakness of mine, I'm afraid) at User talk:Badbilltucker/Appreciation Week where I would greatly appreciate any indications from the members of this project as to whether and how they might be willing and/or able to assist in recognizing the contributions of our editors. Thank you for your attention. Badbilltucker 20:28, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Capitalization in titles
I've noticed that most of the titles from the project that need to be disambiguated are listed with (Owarai) instead of (owarai), and I believe the capitalization needs to be changed. However, since it involves moving a lot of articles, I thought I should check here first to see if there was a reason behind the capitalization choice. Any comments? Task force?
I think this project might work better as a task force of WikiProject Japan. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 01:47, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Sayaka Aoki
Sayaka Aoki (comedian) has been prodded for deletion. 76.66.193.69 (talk) 12:05, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok, so a while back I noticed the article on the m-1 grand prix had been vandalised, but then another ip removed the vandalism without actually reinserting the removed info. I tried to undo the removal of the vandalism to undo the original vandalism instead of just deleting it, but ran into interferance from clue bot. I guess what I'm trying to say is that someone with rollback should probably push it back to the pre vandalism version from last december. There hasn't been any intermediate edits that added content since then so it should be ok. Yeah. The article is in pretty sad shape either way, but... Oh well. Thanks. 123.222.137.153 (talk) 14:16, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
