The file is an image showing the aftermath of Jeju Air Flight 2216. Unlike File:7C2216 skids down rwy.jpg that shows important details of the aircraft before crash (e.g. without landing gears deployed, aircraft crashed and exploded at the end...), the file only depicts fire engines attending some wreckage. This is already well described in Jeju Air Flight 2216#Accident with text, and the file's omission would not be detrimental to the reader's understanding. The file shows a steering column that is vandalized due to the "Kia Challenge". As a widespread criminal trend, the car depicted is not the only one that was vandalized or tampered. Particularly, the article mentioned that Los Angeles was one of the affected regions, and government works in California are in the public domain. This means that there is a good chance that equivalent images could be found from press releases by local authorities. The file shows a crowd of people demanding bail for the suspected murderers of Akku Yadav. As a relatively minor scene after his lynching, it is adequately described by text in the Aftermath section. The file only shows "a group of women surrounded by a crowd", which only serves as a replaceable illustration. You are free to include any photo that are free to be used (i.e. within public domain or under an acceptable CC license), but we impose a much stricter requirement for fair use files (i.e. those that are copyrighted by others and are all rights reserved, cannot be used for commercial or cannot be used to create derivative works).廣九直通車 (talk) 12:21, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

May not meet criterion 8, Contextual significance, of WP:NFCCP. The image here is already described in the accompanying text in detail at where it is placed (in the third paragraph of the Accident section of Jeju Air Flight 2216, as at Special:Permalink/1266457848). Furthermore, the video which the collated image is taken from is also linked with the External video template, which readers can click through to view the progress of the airplane. – robertsky (talk) 18:37, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
