Aillema (talk · contribs) Hi I am Aillema. I've been editing Wikipedia on and off since May, and I've become more active since September. I mostly revert vandalism, since I don't have any particular interests (although I worked on a few articles early on.) I've now made more than 1000 edits, and I'd like feedback on my editing. – Aillema 15:58, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

edit

Since you've retired, I'm going to be somewhat brief. :) You certainly had an active October and seemed to be very active and constructive. Good use of edit summaries. Looking over your talk page and your contributions to the talk pages of others, you seemed to have very good communication—cordial and tops at WP:AGF (with the exception of your thread at Captain Richard Avery Hornsby, which might have been a bit bitey. I know the guy was also a bit rude to you; I just generally advocate rising above. :)) Also, while it's quite right to address what you suspect to be copyright violations, if you can't identify the URL, you should consider listing it for investigation at Wikipedia:Copyright problems. Speedy is for blatant violations, not for suspect. (That said, I am glad to see that you warned the creator; that's important, especially with copyvios!) I'm not sure why you chose to retire, but hope you will reconsider, since it looks to me like Wikipedia benefited from your contributions and would benefit from having them again. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:23, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I guess every edit I make, whether it be fixing a typo, or reverting a bad edit is one I'm pleased with ... after all, it is improving the encyclopedia in some way.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
The other day I was bold, and declined an unblock request from a troll, even though I am not an admin. I think this is probably the worst conflict, and with hindsight I would have definitely not done it.
