Upon a search for sources, the only sustainable one (and its partial at best) was [1]. There was a TV series called NHL Rivals which covered these two teams, but since it was published in part by the NHL and its broadcast partner, NBC, it would be a primary source. If not delete, then I would recommend a partial merge to List of NHL rivalries Conyo14 (talk) 22:51, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

• Delete Basically every team is a rival with every other team, as exemplified by the meaningless made-up statement in the lead "The two teams have been rivals since the Flyers inception". If all the article can do is outline a history of meet-ups – which, again, every team has, including in decades of playoffs – and doesn't describe how the teams and fans actually view the rivalry to give it some substance, there is no reason for an article. The entire article is excessively wordy game descriptions one could make for any combination of teams, but nothing about the rivalry itself. Reywas92^Talk 20:08, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
