Title TK Review

Hi Sparklism, how are you? I've added a bunch of content to the Title TK article, in particular a new Music and lyrics section. I look forward to your detailed review. Cheers, Moisejp (talk) 05:07, 21 November 2014 (UTC)

That's great news (I saw you were beavering away at it). I'll get back to the review this weekend (bit busy today). Cheers! — sparklism hey! 11:22, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
Hi Sparklism. Thanks so much for your review. I wanted to also especially thank you for pushing me to expand the article. When I started it, I found the story of its recording so interesting that I guess I really got focused on that. But, after your urging, when I started looking at what had been written about the music and lyrics, I was happy to find there was an interesting story to be told there too. The article definitely ended up better for it. Cheers! Moisejp (talk) 04:13, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
My pleasure - the result was definitely worth the extra effort you put in. Great stuff! — sparklism hey! 09:58, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

  The Special Barnstar
For your suggestions and excellent Washing Machine and Black Eye reviews, which helped both articles reach GA status. They were really appreciated. Keep up the good work! --Niwi3 (talk) 15:14, 6 December 2014 (UTC)

Aw, shucks! Thanks for that, and well done on the article - another GA to add to your collection. Keep up the good work! — sparklism hey! 15:39, 6 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Richard Dawson (musician), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Newcastle. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Merry Christmas

Congratulations on getting Rounds to GA status - definitely Four Tet's best album in my opinion, a true electronic classic, and it kind of makes me ashamed that I've never listened to Hebden and Adem's previous work in Fridge. Just wanted to say that I'll be back in the UK for a few weeks next month and hope to make it down to the British Library again at some point, so if you want me to look up some reviews of The Hungry Saw, other Tindersticks' albums, or anything else you're working on, let me know. :-)

Also, if you get a chance at some point, would you mind having a look over a couple of articles I've worked on in the past and please give me your opinion and advice - Songs to Remember and Signing Off? Obviously you will have far better things to do over the next week so I don't expect you to get a chance until January at the earliest, but there is no rush at all from my point of view - I doubt either article will change significantly for a while. I'd just like to get a peer review and see how much more work needs to be done to them to get them to GA status. Thanks, and have a good Christmas. Richard3120 (talk) 20:57, 22 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi mate, and Merry Christmas to you too! I can't imagine what a Colombian Christmas must be like, but I'm guessing the Brits over there will still be roasting chestnuts on an open fire in between bouts of snowball fighting etc... Thanks for your kind words about Rounds - I agree that it's an absolute classic record, one of my favourites. It's largely thanks to you that I had the confidence to start putting things forward for GA in the first place, so you've played a part in getting Rounds to where it is today - thanks for that! (The only Fridge album I own is The Sun, which I guess isn't one of their major works but is a fine listen nonetheless. I'm a huge Four Tet fan though, and I adore the first Adem album.)
As far at The Hungry Saw goes, you'll see I already submitted it for GA review some time ago. The Q review we talked about could be a great addition to the article, so I'd be grateful if you found the time to look it up but I think the article stands up well enough without it, so there's no need to go out of your way. And it's an extremely kind offer that you make in terms of looking up other stuff - I alone could probably keep you busy in the British Library for a month looking up stuff for pre-internet era album articles, and I'm sure you have your own list as long as your arm... And while there are plenty (IMHO) of classic records whose articles here do not do them justice, the ones I'm sort of planning to work on over the next year or so are New Forms, Psychocandy and the holy Bristolian trinity of Dummy (album), Blue Lines & Maxinquaye - anything you could pull out for those would be greatly appreciated.
I've only glanced at those two album articles you linked above but they look fantastic; it will be my pleasure to give them a more detailed look when I get the chance (you're right in thinking that it might not be until after the New Year, but I'll do my best) - I'll let you know my thoughts as soon as I get the chance to do them justice. Knowing the care you take and the quality of your work, my advice for now would be to start thinking about getting them in the queue at WP:GAN asap - it's a slow process over there at the moment, so you'll likely have plenty of chance to work on them still. That said, I suppose there's no real rush.
Lastly, I hope you and yours have a great Christmas and New Year, and a safe passage home. Cheers! — sparklism hey! 07:23, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
Fantastic - the three 'Bristol' albums are all in my collection and were all on my 'to do' list somewhere down the line, I've just been concentrating on upgrading some of the classic 80s albums for now, as many were in a woeful state (Songs to Remember was literally one line of text before I started work on it). Like I said, no rush at all and I'll see what I can do in January. :-) Richard3120 (talk) 15:06, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
