Hi Mheart, please make sure that you add new topics on the bottom of talk pages - a general practice, this makes it easier for editors to spot the latest topic. Thanks! Ninja neko 08:14, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Userboxes

Hi, Mheart. I saw your question about grouping userboxes. The way to get a box of userboxes instead of a stack is to format it like this:

{| style="margin: 1em auto 1em auto"
|<center><big>'''Languages'''</big></center>
|-
| {{user en}}{{user de-3}}
|-
| {{user ja-0}}{{user ga-0}}
|-
| {{User than then}}{{User youryou're}}
|-
| {{User french spacing:no}}{{User its}}
|-
| {{User:UBX/exclam-abuse}}{{User british quotes}}
|-
| {{User anal-4}}{{User:Feureau/UserBox/AmericanEnglish}}
|-
| {{User AIM-able-2}}{{User caps2}}
|-
| {{user:UBX/1337}}{{User:SixTimesBlue/src-n}}
|-
| {{user html}}
|-
| <center><big>'''Interests and tastes'''</big></center>
|-
| {{User:UBX/Cheetah}}{{User:UBX/Cat lover}}
|-
| {{User:UBX/lj}}{{User:UBX/MySpace}}
|-
| {{User:LC.Lau/Userboxes/User Google}}{{User:Menasim/Userboxes/User Gmail}}
|-
| {{User:Iron2000/UBX/Winamp}}{{User:UBX/uTorrent}}
|-
| {{User:KyraVixen/Userboxes/browser:PrefersFirefox}}{{User:The Raven's Apprentice/Userboxes/User MS Windows|XP Media Center Edition}}
|-
| {{User:Gracz54/Notepad}}{{User:The Raven's Apprentice/Userboxes/User PC}}
|-
| {{User:FastLizard4/Userboxing/Floppy}}{{User:Djr xi/User Omnivore}}
|-
| {{User:Feureau/UserBox/LoveCheese}}{{User:Feureau/UserBox/LovesPizza}}
|-
| {{User:UBX/Cereals}}{{User:Llama man/Userboxes/Sushi}}
|-
| etc.
|}

Hope this helps. WODUP 00:22, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Grunge project

Judging by your interests, have you had a chance to visit Wikipedia:WikiProject Alternative music and the Nirvana task force? WesleyDodds (talk) 04:07, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Yes. Grunge is a large enough genre to stand out in its own right. The punk movement, for example, has had its lasting power and influence on various bands, and so too does grunge. It's strange to lump bands in as alternative rock when they were labeled then, like now, as definitively grunge. mheart (talk) 21:17, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Actually, they were always labeled alternative rock, even back then (there's a couple of articles I could show you). You see, grunge is a subgenre of alt-rock, which is why for instance the Nirvana infobox lists both alternative rock and grunge.WesleyDodds (talk) 04:48, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
I'm interested in this!--Greg D. Barnes (talk) 04:37, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Grunge again

Hey, if you need help on grunge articles, I have tons of references you can use. Just let me know what you want to work on. WesleyDodds (talk) 08:58, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! I'll definitely do that! Right now, Cannibaloki and I are trying to find decent photos for Soundgarden. mheart (talk) 20:03, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

The future is near, near you.[clarification needed] ha!   I'm serious.[citation needed] I nominated two articles related to Soundgarden at Wikipedia:Good article nominations.--Cannibaloki 16:54, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

I saw your name at the copyeditors guild page. I was wondering if you would like to copyedit this article for FAC. The lead has already been done, so everything after that needs checking. Thanks for your help. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 03:21, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Wikipedia:WikiProject Category sorting

I ended up in the same place as you did, tis a shame it is inactive and your efforts went unnoticed - I hope you have found more luck at Wikipedia:WikiProject Categories - I have made a note on WPS pointing to the more active project so no others fall into that trap. Anyway here's a thankyou on behalf of the WikiHive and power to your pixel for the future :) --Lee∴V (talkcontribs) 00:19, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! I noticed that the boxes are being used on a taskforce page. As for the long list of current projects, if no one's going to say anything then I'll just go ahead and make the subpage - it hasn't been updated since November 2009 anyway. Thank you for the tip! See you around. mheart (talk) 14:18, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Grab some glory, and a barnstar

Hi, I'd like to invite you to participate in the Guild of Copy Editors July 2010 Backlog Elimination Drive. In May, about 30 editors helped remove the {{copyedit}} tag from 1175 articles. The backlog is still over 7500 articles, and extends back to the beginning of 2008! We really need your help to reduce it. Copyediting just a couple articles can qualify you for a barnstar. Serious copyeditors can win prestigious and exclusive rewards. See the event page for more information. And thanks for your consideration. ɳorɑfʈ Talk! 14:59, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
