Heights

edit

Hi there, I've noticed you've changed a few height on biographies. Remember that the language and measurements used should reflect the subject's nationality: hence use ft/in/lb and US spelling ("meters") in US biographies, ft/in and st/lb and Brit spelling in British biographies, and plain metres and kilos in other biographies. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Hello, Clinton Baptiste. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Template:Footer Commonwealth Games Champions Freestyle Wrestling Super Heavyweight".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Leslie Stefanson edit

edit

I have reverted your addition of an unsourced date of birth to Leslie Stefanson. In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Feel free to add a date of birth when it is accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published, non-primary source. Eddie Blick (talk) 00:46, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

It's on her IMDb page in the external links. Clinton Baptiste (talk) 05:49, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
IMDb is not a reliable source for content of Wikipedia articles. Please see WP:IMDB for comments about it. Use of IMDb is limited to the "External links" sections in articles. You might also want to read WP:USERGENERATED, which names some other sources that are similarly unreliable.
Also, please remember that a source needs to be cited in the article, adjacent to the content it supports. Even if you found the date in a reliable external link, a citation would still be needed. Eddie Blick (talk) 01:39, 17 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Elijah Hall (athlete), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Katy.
