Hôtel de Vendôme (boulevard Saint-Michel, Paris)

Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your edit summary (e.g. “translated from fr.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. I’ve added it for you. Happy editing and please leave a message on my talk page if you need any help Mccapra (talk) 18:49, 3 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Invitation

I noticed you were editing some health-related articles recently; thanks for the help. Some editors hang out at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine. You're welcome to join us if it's a subject area that interests you. It's a good place to ask questions about finding good sources for medical content or writing style. Feel free to put the group's page on your watchlist, or stop by to say hello some time. WhatamIdoing (talk) 00:08, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for sockpuppetry

edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/BobVillars. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The WordsmithTalk to me 01:02, 20 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hello, BobVillars. Thank you for your work on Fondation pour la recherche médicale. Klbrain, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

I had wondered about switching to an English title, but it looks like English sources also tend to use the French version. The official website is also in French only (now), so it's difficult to authenticate a formally-recognized English title.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Ways to improve Institut Clément Ader

edit

Hello, BobVillars,

Thank you for creating Institut Clément Ader.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The key issue here is that sources are closely affiliated with the topic; it would be helpful to have external views.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Thanks for uploading File:Logo Hi! PARIS.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 22:10, 27 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. Proposed deletion of Society & Organizations Institute

edit

The article Society & Organizations Institute has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NCORP, I did WP:BEFORE but couldn't find anything. There may be material in French but my French is very basic and I wasn't able to find anything with Google Translate. Article was created by a globally locked user but I don't think meets G5 CSD.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
