Reverting my moves

edit

Why did you revert my moves from "Belize ..." to "Belizean ..."? The adjective most certainly is "Belizean", so the articles should be at "Belizean general election, 2008", not "Belize ...". —Nightstallion (?) 14:02, 5 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

My bad. But I don't think I did this. I was trying to edit the article. Go ahead and revert, I have no objections.--Aaronhumes 15:39, 6 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

You haven't responded to my statement. If you will kindly check the articles in question they have been restored to Belizean. Thanks and happy editing!--Aaronhumes 22:06, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nice job!

edit

Fascinating new article on the Family Feud broadcast history. My brother, father, wife, former brother-in-law and sister-in-law played with Ray Combs in '89. They won two games but, sadly, not the big money. I met Ray briefly as well as some of the Goodson-Todman crew. Wonderful folks all. I was deeply saddened at Combs' passing since he treated my wife particularly nice. He had played a joke on her by tweaking her nose on camera; she got him back later with a terrific tweak of her own which brought down the house...but which didn't make it to air. Wonderful memory. - Lucky 6.9 04:18, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The split you did to Family Feud was not the idea we wanted. You did your best, but someone put {{merge}} there because that person disagreed with your decision. How about this I mentioned in Talk:Family Feud: "around the world" (you did that already), "Combs", "Dawson", "Fremantle", etc. --Gh87 18:03, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Been intending to respond to the Family Feud situation. The separation I made could be described as temporary: If other contributors would like to flesh out those, fine. "Around the World" and "In Popular Culture" can stand by themselves, but I'll work on restoring "Rules and Production" and a more fleshed out broadcast history back to main article. To previous writer before GH87, thanks! (I am a Feud fan, by the way; watched all episodes save the Dawson return)--Aaronhumes 21:00, 28 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Cross Country Cycling Classic

edit

Hi Aaron, I came across Cross Country Cycling Classic. The article is well fleshed out but lacks sources / verification. Seems you're a keen contributor so thought I'd ask if you could bring the article in line with content policies? Cheers, Deizio talk 02:01, 23 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

No problem. My main sources were a retrospective magazine published by the local Cycling Association before the 2005 race (cannot locate my copy right now though) and an Amanadala article for the origins. As soon as I find them they go in.--Aaronhumes 21:53, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Bliss School of Nursing

edit

An editor has nominated Bliss School of Nursing, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bliss School of Nursing and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because New York, New York (Ja Rule song)/Temp fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Cadine Pics 018.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 01:50, 4 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Logo header.gif)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo header.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Duplicate images uploaded

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Amandala header.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Amandala header 2007.jpg. The copy called Image:Amandala header 2007.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Proposed deletion of FM 2000

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article FM 2000, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

WP:NOTABILITY

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Speedy deletion nomination of Belize Telemedia Limited

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Belize Telemedia Limited, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Unremarkable novel by a non-notable author with no sources since at least 2008

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
