I occasionally will make an article edit or comment on a talk page if I feel strongly about an issue or how it is presented. I tend to restrict article edits to correcting obvious errors of fact or grammar; otherwise I will usually comment on the talk pages.
I do not respond to nor am I notified on responses to edits. I do not generally monitor or respond to feedback. To those who have thanked me for edits, you're welcome.
While it is a significant collaborative and informative effort, Wikipedia is by no means a scholarly or academic reference. Wikipedia is more properly regarded as "infotainment," tending to be less reliable - and I might add, more left-wing - the more controversial the subject.
Over the years, and contrary to the vision of its co-founder Larry Sanger, Wikipedia has become a mouthpiece for the Left, instead of neutral in its presentations. For this reason, I recommend https://www.ballotpedia.org or https://www.newworldencyclopedia.org for a more balanced perspective on political or otherwise controversial topics.
