Two things.
I hope we can get the class A article done this year. @Figureskatingfan
The infobox is no longer related to Figure Skating with this photo, and for that matter, the picture that's been uploaded is not compliant with wikimedia rules. I am reverting it. Tagging @Yunacore here. They can place any such photos in the media/cultural articles, but make sure you've followed the wikimedia rules to upload any such photo.
OK, I'll correct myself a bit on point 2, apparently, this photo is compliant. Still, I have reverted it to figure skating. If @Yunacore can fetch a more recent photo of Yuna's skating or something similar, then please add it to the infobox. The Dior photo can be posted into her other articles, because it's a nice one. There's nothing wrong with updating to a newer image. It's unrealistic to expect her article picture to remain the same forever. Using one from 2010 is simply outdated. Btspurplegalaxy💬🖊️09:52, 7 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
I would love for the class A assessment to go through this year as well. Lots of stuff is happening IRL right now, so I'll resubmit it by the end of the month. I'm a little worried that the same thing will happen again (not enough reviewers and then one of them seemingly dropping off the face of the earth, for good reasons). But I'm willing to put us all through it again. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 18:24, 7 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
Could you comment on the infobox picture? I find it ridiculous that a fashion show event is being used for the picture. You can see, as an example, that Hanyu's PyeongChang victory is still being used for his infobox, and that's already 6 years old, too.
Yuna's sports page should be left for her sporting achievements. There are recent pictures from sports events/coaching they can obtain if they so choose. Editor120918756 (talk) 06:03, 11 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Editor120918756, I see that as of now, her 2010 picture is in the infobox. I've always been okay with using it and I'm okay about using one from another venue. You have a point, though; perhaps the best choice is to use images from non-sports venues in her other forked articles. I'm open to other arguments, though, although I support keeping the 2010 image in the infobox until there's a consensus otherwise. Perhaps we should use a more recent skating image. What do others think? Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 18:45, 11 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
