Does anyone know why this station is named so? It's not near the Metrodome. Thanks, zappa.jake (talk) 20:57, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
because the name of the neighborhood the stop is in is stadium village, which is adjoined to the U of M in the area where the old U football stadium was.
It will also be the main stop for the TCF Stadium -Mitch OwenTalk © 01:09, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
