editRisedronate Sodium is also manufactured by Cipla Ltd. in India. I know this because I bought some from a Canadian pharmacia and received tablets in packaging that identified them as the manufacturer.

Alternative name
editOptinate, is available from Sanofi Aventis as 35mg risedronato sodico (Risedronic Acid)- information from package leaflet no0472G161.
