References
editThis article does not indeed have specific footnotes, but the references are given to external links, at which the information in the article can be found. If anybody is willing to do that work, it would be much appreciated. 129.71.73.243 (talk) 18:55, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Changed the Story Section to Meet the In-Game Intro
editSorry, but the original edit makes it look like Bert was directly seeking Mark himself. However, in the game, Bert is looking for anyone's assistance. It shows him crashing right next to Mark with an animation that very well signifies his disorientated state. After explaining himself, he THEN insists that Mark be his assistant, and simply because "anything will be ok". He's saying that even a batter and his bat will do and fuses with him to ensure his safety.

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page
editCyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Resolved This issue has been resolved, and I have therefore removed the tag, if not already done. No further action is necessary.—cyberbot II NotifyOnline 05:55, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
Any Update to Legacy section?
editThe article currently lists that the effort is still ongoing in 2011. Has there been any additional discoveries or finality found by 2018? Also, would this be the section to include any more detailed information on the Jap. Famicom non-release and auction mentioned in the introduction? Cheers! --Elfabet (talk) 16:05, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
Character's (original?) names
editThank you, BlueMario1016, for your recent contributions.
I was hoping you could cite your addition, as claims about such things as intended character names in an unreleased game version would fall into extraordinary insider knowledge.
Further more, the reference link that is assigned to that sentence appears to be a 404 for me, so that could be updated as well.
Thanks again! Elfabet (talk) 13:13, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
