Modern sources say she died in Switzerland, but older sources like the obituary "The Death of Mrs. Lucy M. Mitchell" (The American Architect and Building News 23 June 1888) say she died in Berlin. Viriditas (talk) 01:23, 26 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Somebody erroneously attributed an image of Cornelia Phillips Spencer to that of Mitchell. This is just a note to say that the image floating around is not of her, it’s of Spencer, no matter what anybody claims. To date, there is no available image of Mitchell, but it’s possible one will turn up. Viriditas (talk) 03:37, 26 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Update. I found her real image. It is in the book Assyrian Reliefs from the Palace of Ashurnasirpal II: A Cultural Biography (2010), and is held in the archives at Harvard. I will upload it later tonight. Viriditas (talk) 03:56, 26 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
