Non sequitur
editMust have been a sentence deleted. Second para reads: 'Barker made his debut onstage there at the age of 14.' Where? Valetude (talk) 09:56, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
War service
editHe 'served in the Red Cross and in Somme'. Presumably this means he served in the Red Cross during the Battle of the Somme. If it means something else, you might clarify.
Also, 'he met the poet Robert William Service who was ambulance driver in the Red Cross Corps.' This relates to nothing else in the article, and the two men don't seem to have worked together. Not encyclopedic, I would suggest. Valetude (talk) 13:30, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
