editSeriously, this looks more like an autobiography than like an encyclopedic article. 134.2.129.84 13:39, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Extremely promotional tone
editA quick read-through of this article had me checking the URL to make sure I was still on Wikipedia. The hyper-promotional tone of the Investments and 2008 economic crisis, Economic recession, and Divestment from Darfur sections sounds like a press release; in fact, two of the references cited are press releases, including one from Caprio's office, which is not a reliable third-party source. I'll wait a few days to see if someone who has this article watchlisted fixes it; after that I'll clear out all of the promotional junk. Horologium (talk) 14:25, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
- I went through this article with a machete and removed the worst of the cruft. I will be watching this article to make sure it doesn't turn into a hagiography again. 23:11, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
Promotional
editThis seems like more of a campaign ad than a informative article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.62.125.51 (talk) 21:31, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
Shamelessly Promotional
editMr. Caprio just told President Obama to "shove it." Perhaps that might merit a mention here? NY Times: "Obama Gets a Caustic Welcome in Rhode Island" Fyrewede (talk) 02:25, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- I completely agree. I can't believe there is no section for the Rhode Island gubernatorial election, 2010. I'll work on making a new section and will incorporate that along with it. MinorColossal (talk) 01:15, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
