Editors on Page
editThis page is worth watching. Editors must be suspicious of those who make an appearance to hack information out of pages they've never worked on before and who peddle their self-proclaimed expertise on Wikipedia - including self-aggrandizing books that amount to nothing more than entrepreneurial endeavors. Watch this page carefully, please.

deleted Pruitt endorsement
editI deleted the claim that ConservAmerica endorsed Pruitt to head the EPA. Feel free to add back in if there are credible sources.
The article that was cited didn't say anything about ConservAmerica. I did a little googling and didn't find anything saying ConservAmerica has endorsed Pruitt. The official list of endorsements on the CA website doesn't mention him. I found one news article saying that a person who is on the board of CA has praised Pruitt, but that would not count as an official endorsement from the organization.
- @Fagles:Thanks for your input. You forgot to sign your comments, but you could add your USER name afterward. I've done the same at least a couple of times. I found about eight news articles saying that ConservAmerica Board Member Nan Hayworth strongly supported Pruitt's appointment. But I also found these claims at the Confirm Scott Pruitt website.
- ConservAmerica, A Conservative Conservation Group, Said Pruitt’s Nomination “Signals A Return To The Original Mission Of The EPA.” “ConservAmerica believes that the nomination of Mr. Pruitt signals a return to the original mission of the EPA – as America’s federal enforcement agency on environmental laws – and a pivot away from the EPA as a policy making tool of the Executive Branch.” (ConservAmerica, “Statement On Nomination Of Scott Pruitt To Head EPA,” Press Release, 12/8/16)
- ConservAmerica Also “Praised Mr. Pruitt’s Commitment To The Reality That States Have Different Situations.” “In particular, ConservAmerica praised Mr. Pruitt’s commitment to the reality that states have different situations: ‘Every state has dramatically different issues and electric generation fleets,’ explained Mr. Sisson. ‘In several states, for example, the wind production tax credit – which has fueled the expansion of a valuable zero emissions resource – has inadvertently imperiled the continuing operation of nuclear plants, America’s only zero emissions source of baseload power.’” (ConservAmerica, “Statement On Nomination Of Scott Pruitt To Head EPA,” Press Release, 12/8/16)
- ConservAmerica: “Pruitt’s Record Indicates That He Understands The Need To Enforce The Law Without Jeopardizing People’s Utility Rates.” “Mr. Sisson stated that ConservAmerica believes that ‘to successfully reduce emissions and address climate change, we have to have solutions that don’t throw the market into chaos – Mr. Pruitt’s record indicates that he understands the need to enforce the law without jeopardizing people’s utility rates and without pitting one zero emissions resource against another.’” (ConservAmerica, “Statement On Nomination Of Scott Pruitt To Head EPA,” Press Release, 12/8/16)[1] Activist (talk) 10:20, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
