Review
editThis article will need a lot of expansion to meet the B-class criteria. I suggest you refer to the Manual of Style for films. If you need details, please leave a message on my talk page. Good work so far and I hope you will continue working on this article!--Lionratz (talk) 06:43, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
- Problems preventing this artice from getting B-class:
- Referencing:
- The current references seems reliable, but not all the information in the release and production section is referenced. (eg: The film had been rated "A" by the Film Ratings Board in 1999.) If the reference is used elsewhere, please use the <ref name=""> template you can find in the help toolbar.
- Coverage:
- The lead section is too short. See Wikipedia:MOSFILM#Lead_section.
- The plot should be about 400-700 words as per WP:FILMPLOT
- The actual film release date, and other release details (like it was released by which distributor?) are not stated
- Reviews of the film is a bit too thin in terms of substance (mostly one-liner quotes). There should be more on what the reviewers like or disliked about the film.
- The sentence "Despite receiving critical acclaim, it was not able to earn well financially when it was first released to Philippine theaters in a limited run." can also be expanded on. How much did it earn? And how long is it theatrical run (In my home country, films lasting more than 3 weeks are considered long running). Also give more details about its re-release.
- Expand the cast list. You can give a brief summary of individual role of the characters.
- Structure
- I think some sections of the release section should be included in another section entitled "Reception". See the Manual of Style for more suggestions.
- Grammar & Style
- The article should undergo a copyedit by another editor after it has been expanded. You can request for someone to look at it at the WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors.
- Supporting Materials
- Please include a picture (eg: the film poster) of the film with the complete non-free rationale.
If you see another B-class article [1], you can see that it has much more details. Hope you find these suggestions useful. And after you have improved the page, please list it at the assessment page again for editors to re-assess. Good luck on your future task!--Lionratz (talk) 07:56, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
