Two changes:

I added a mention of Barton MacLane's cattle ranch. This is, in a sense, original research: MacLane and his family were friends of my parents, and I visited his ranch with them as a child. (I remember a big white house on the left side of the road and a little uphill from it...) However, it can be verified at http://members.cox.net/bbales/bartpage.htm .
I removed the cause of death. The article said cancer, but the webpage cited above says the earlier report of cancer was wrong; he died after suffering two strokes while hospitalized with pneumonia. Cognita 08:38, 11 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
