Novel presentation

edit

I'm a little reluctant to make any major changes to this article on my own, since it has FA status. However, calling out that Bannon wrote six novels, all a part of the same series, and then giving only five of those novels their own section seems off. I assume The Marriage is given shorter shrift because it is not as reflective of the lesbian themes in the other books in the series, and therefore is less critical to the Bannon story or understanding her oeuvre. However, the absence of a section for it is confusing when a reader is expecting to see six, and it's also a little odd that there is no separate discussion at all about a book that serves as both the chronological conclusion to the series and is a full entry. Even if there isn't as much to say about it, it makes sense to give it a subsection of its own, since glomming it onto the Journey to a Woman section seems unsatisfactory. Thoughts? Some perusal off-wiki of literary discussion seems to suggest that The Marriage is considered a related novel, but not actually a part of the series proper. So perhaps it makes sense not to give it its own section, but instead to revise the lede to indicate the series is of five books, with one related side novel that includes some of the same characters? Bibliography section

edit
I changed the Bibliography section to a sub-section (it is "part" of the "References" section) and the name to "References cited" (some use "Works cited") per MOS:NOTES: "Bibliography" may be confused with the complete list of printed works by the subject of a biography ("Works" or "Publications").
It is not a major change and has valid reasoning, inline with MOS and other articles, and less confusing. Thanks, Otr500 (talk) 07:23, 31 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Who did she write her letter to?

edit

The article says she wrote to “Marijane Meaker (Vin Parker's name ).” If she did, where did she learn that name, which has not been mentioned before, to write to her? I suspect that she wrote to Vin Parker, who was listed as the author of the book she liked, and Parker wrote back as Meaker. There may be an explanation as to why she wrote to Meaker, but the article doesn’t give it. Wis2fan (talk) 02:47, 15 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
