Nkwatia Kwahu is a town in the Kwahu East district, a district in the Eastern Region of south Ghana.Nkwatia or Nkortia means "I returned there" formerly named by the indigenous of Oji- Ounji from the Guan tribe now called Anii the Lost tribe of the Kwawu and Akems in Ghana [1] It is also the home of the St.Peter's Boys Secondary School and also Nkwatia Presbyterian Secondary School.[2] [3]

Nkwatia Kwahu is known for the Nkwatia Secondary School and Saint Peters Secondary School. And Nkwatia Presby Secondary school (Nkwasco)[4][5] The school is a second cycle institution.[6] It is the largest town in Kwahu East District.
