Early life and education
editBilan was born on a farm in the northern Punjab, her mother from Moranwali and her father from Raipur Daba,[2] and moved to Nottingham, England at 18 months old, where she grew up in Lenton and Radford.[3] Bilan graduated with a Master of Arts (MA) in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa University in 2014.[4]
Personal life
editBilan lives near Bath with her husband and their two sons.[5]
