The Bronx County Conservative Party, more commonly known as the Bronx Conservative Party, is a regional affiliate of the New York State Conservative Party for the borough of the Bronx in New York City, New York.[1]
Leadership
editThe Bronx Conservative Party, maintains a small executive committee, having a chairman, vice chairman, recording secretary and a district leader for each seat in the New York State Assembly.[1][2]
Since the end of 2021, the Bronx Conservative Party had shown minimal activity despite fielding candidates for the ballot. However, this trend shifted post - the 2023 elections with increased candidate submissions and heightened community engagement.[3][4][5]
For the 2024 elections, they have received more media attention than in previous years and have successfully submitted candidates for 21 legislative positions, securing 18 of them. This resurgence marks a significant uptick in their political presence and influence within the Bronx.[6][7][8][9][10]
For the 2025 elections, the Party has made strides with candidates and events.[11][12][13]
The Current Chairman is Patrick McManus, and the vice chairman is Gonzalo Duran who were both elected in 2023.[1][14][15]

editIn the 17th District, the Bronx GOP candidate, Rosalie Nieves, is running unopposed and will face off against incumbent Bronx Democrat Party candidate Rafael Salamanca, and Gonzalo Duran, Salamanca's democratic challenger who has secured the Conservative Party's nomination.[16][17]
2024 Election
editIn the 15th Congressional District, the Bronx County Conservative Party candidate and Bronx GOP endorsed candidate, Gonzalo Duran, is running unopposed and will face off against incumbent Democrat Ritchie Torres.[18][19]
2025 Election
editOn November 25, 2024, during the Bronx Conservative Party's November meeting, Gonzalo Duran, the Vice Chairman, announced his candidacy for Mayor of New York City in 2025 elections.[20]
Elected officials
editAs of 2024, the Bronx Conservative Party has no elected officials in the New York Senate, New York House of Representatives, or the Executive of New York and one Republican Party candidate endorsed by the Bronx Conservative Party in the New York City Council.[21]
