"Turkey Trouble" is the first segment of the ninety-first episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis[]
Bill begrudgingly joins Cricket to cover up a turkey crime on Thanksgiving.
Plot[]
The entire Green clan is having Thanksgiving together with Nancy stressfully doing most of the cooking. Having become a more responsible person, she wants this Thanksgiving to be perfect, though Bill once again attempt to prevent Cricket from ruining everything. Tilly announces a new game for them to play this year called "Hobble Gobble Go", where their feet are tied up and they have to "hobble" into the woods to collect turkey crafts. Nick and Gramma Alice immediately become committed to the game, while Nancy partially participates. Bill goes back inside the house to find Cricket and attempts to stop him from eating the muffins.
After a series of accidents, Bill ends up destroying most of the food including the turkey. Cricket offers to help fix this Thanksgiving dinner, claiming that they didn't notice anything three years ago either. In the forest, Nick attempts to cheat, but Tilly catches him and forces him to remove his shoes. Despite catching a lot, Nick wants to give up, until Tilly tells him that he and Alice are currently tied, urging him to continue. Bill and Cricket are disappointed to see the store is out of turkey, but a passing Patti and Wayne (who are buying pies) tells them of a wild turkey that was spotted on the highway and Bill and Cricket give chase.
Bill and Cricket find the turkey, but fail to catch it. When Cricket suggests stealing Trey and Tracy's turkey, Bill gives up, not wanting to be a part of it. Nick seemingly wins the Hobble Gobble Go game, but when an actual turkey shows up, Tilly automatically makes it the winner, much to Nick's frustration. The family heads home, but everyone is shocked to find a perfectly made Thanksgiving dinner. Cricket tells Bill that he decided to reach out to the neighbors for help and they all pitched in. Nancy is glad to see that dinner is fine, as Tilly offers another bizarre game called "Apple Grapple Pie".

Trivia[]
- Trey and Tracy's first appearance since "Bunny Farm".
- The first time where all the living Green Family members are celebrating a holiday together.
- Bill is forced to lie to Nancy and help Cricket cover the accident; ironically in "Study Abroad", he was the only one who refused to help Remy lie to his parents.
- When Tilly dubs the turkey an automatic winner, it is an example of a "dark horse", when someone who did not compete or was in last place suddenly gets a surprise, unexpected win.
- This is the fourth episode to end with "trouble" after "Trailer Trouble", "Car Trouble", and "Big Trouble".
- Coincidentally, there has been one episode with this format per season.
- This is the second episode to take place during Thanksgiving after "Big Deal".
- Moral:
- Sometimes you can't cover up your mistakes.
- It's good to make things right but it's also good to confess.
- Thanksgiving doesn't have to be perfect.
- Hector, Lupita, and Sunday are the only recurring Smalton neighbors who did not come to the Greens' Thanksgiving dinner.
