Nicepool (real name Justin Baldoni) is a Marvel character who makes his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Deadpool & Wolverine. He is one of many variants of Deadpool and is portrayed by Ryan Reynolds.
Background[]
Justin Baldoni is from a different world to earth-10005, and was a mercenary just like the 10005 character. Sometime after meeting Peter, Justin became known as Deadpool in his universe and became a vigilante. However, Justin was sent to the Void for unknown reasons, where he met other variants of himself, and was given the nickname Nicepool due to his positive and friendly attitude.

Deadpool & Wolverine[]
Nicepool is first introduced when Deadpool and Wolverine are sent to the void by the TVA and they meet his pet dog, Dogpool. Nicepool kindly greets the heroes and explains why he has been sent to the void, offering to help them escape in his car. Deadpool becomes interested in Nicepool's golden guns, stating that he would get them if Nicepool dies, much to the latter's confusion as to why he would die. Deadpool and Wolverine then take Nicepool's Honda Odyssey, leaving Nicepool behind.
Sometime later, Nicepool makes his way through a portal to earth-10005 along with the Deadpool Corps and joins Deadpool and Wolverine in trying to stop the corps members as they are trying to get to Cassandra Nova, who plans on destroying all universes with the time ripper. However, during the fight with the Deadpool Corps, Nicepool is shot and Deadpool tries to convince his counterpart to regenerate, much to Nicepool's confusion as Deadpool learns that this variant of himself is unable to regenerate as he does not have that ability. Deadpool tries to get Nicepool to a hospital, convincing Nicepool to believe he will live. However, Deadpool shakes Nicepool so much, that his head explodes, which kills him, much to Wolverine's annoyance. Deadpool then takes Nicepool's golden katana's for himself to use against his many variants.
Trivia[]
- This variant of Deadpool is the only one who does not have a healing factor ability, therefore being unable to regenerate. He is however, able to break the fourth wall as he looks to the camera and mentions the film, The Proposal, which starred Ryan Reynolds who plays Nicepool and Earth-10005's Deadpool.
- Nicepool is credited as being portrayed by Gordon Reynolds, which is a reference to a sketch Ryan Reynolds released in 2021, where he is interviewed by his fake brother, named Gordon Reynolds.
