"Ghosts Of Haunted Gulch" is the second segment of the twenty-fifth episode of Mickey Mouse Funhouse. It premiered on October 7, 2022 alongside "Welcome To Giant Crab Island!", and is the season 1 finale.
Plot[]
Mickey and the gang get a call from Mayor Clarabelle, who needs help clearing spooky ghosts out of Sunny Gulch.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins inside Funny, where the Funhouse phone is ringing but keeps bouncing everywhere. The gang tries to catch it but it keeps evading them. Minnie distracts the phone so Mickey can successfully pick up and answer the call. On the other line is Mayor Clarabelle of Sunny Gulch, asking the gang for help clearing out ghosts haunting the town. The gang sets off for Sunny Gulch.
Upon arrival, the gang sees that Sunny Gulch is almost empty. They find Mayor Clarabelle hiding in a barrel. She explains that today is Frontier Day, where folks get together and have a good time at a party. However, the ghosts appeared out of nowhere the day before and began scaring them. Mickey suggests they all split up to get answers. Inside one of the saloons, Mickey, Minnie, and Clarabelle find Wheezelene hanging off a rope with her minions. She explains that she just gave a performance when all of a sudden roses began flying at her. No one saw who was throwing the flowers, so Mickey concludes it was the ghosts. Meanwhile, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy step inside Hilda's place to drink some delicious cactus juice, but are soon scared off when they see one ghost playing the piano and another drinking Donald's juice.
The gang regroups and they soon find the ghosts leaving Sunny Gulch. When Mickey asks why the ghosts are leaving, they explain that they came from Halloween-ville when they heard about Frontier Day at Sunny Gulch and wanted to join in on the celebration. Upon arriving, however, they say that they felt very unwelcome since everyone they meet would scream and run away from them. Clarabelle apologizes on behalf of the town for their behavior towards the ghosts and learns a valuable lesson: no matter how different they are, always make your visitors feel welcome. The gang and the ghosts enjoy Frontier Day before returning back to Funny. The episode ends with Funny producing a souvenir to remember their trip and Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to the viewers.
