Bubble Bee is a Pluto cartoon with costar Spike the Bee.
Synopsis[]
Pluto is playing with a ball in the park when he mistakes a bubble gum machine for it. He tries briefly to get a gumball from the machine when Spike the bee flies into the machine and carries a gumball off to his hive. Pluto goes after the hive and knocks it down; it's full of gumballs, which he eagerly scoops up and begins chewing. Spike returns and is understandably upset; he tracks down Pluto, but Pluto manages to defend himself with gum bubbles for quite a while. The bee manages to wrap the gum from one bubble around Pluto's legs, hobbling him. Finally, Spike flies into Pluto's mouth; Pluto cough him out and blows a giant bubble with the bee to prevent from getting to his mouth again. Spike decide to use his stinger against the bubble, which made a dangerous explosion. It send Spike and Pluto into the air almost out cold and fall in to a flower bed. Spike got so ticked off, he stung Pluto in the rear end. He jumps out of the flower bed and runs away in pain. Spike chews a bubble gum, made a bubble and it popped all over his face.
