Don DaGradi was an American screenwriter and layout artist, best known for his work with Disney. DaGradi started out as a layout artist on 1940s cartoons, such as Der Fuehrer's Face. He also worked as a color and styling or sequence consultant on many other Disney films. DaGradi is probably best known for his work on Mary Poppins, for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay alongside Bill Walsh. He was posthumously named a Disney Legend in 1991, only months after his death.
In the 2013 film Saving Mr. Banks, DaGradi was portrayed by Bradley Whitford.
