"Asia" is a song from the Disney's Sing-Along Songs video Flik's Musical Adventure at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The song is sung when the children explore the Asia area in Animal Kingdom describing animals found in this area such as Bengal tigers and Komodo dragons.

Lyrics[]

Welcome to the world of mystery
Asia is the pearl across the sea
The land of ancient wisdom in the East
From India to Thailand to the China Sea

In the shadow of the Himalayas
The highest mountains with mysteries untold
You might see something moving in the tall grass: the sacred Bengal tiger going for a stroll

In Asia, we have brightly colored dragons
Whose tails in ceremonies are uncurled
But we also have the real Komodo dragon: the largest living reptile in the whole wide world

Welcome to the world of mystery
Asia is the pearl across the sea
The land of ancient wisdom in the East
From India to Thailand to the China Sea

Asia is the world of many mysteries
Asia is a world of many mysteries

Trivia[]

  • The song is based on the tune of "The Siamese Cat Song" from Lady and the Tramp.
  • Although a Komodo dragon is seen in the song during the verse describing dragons and lizards, there is also an Asian water monitor present in the song.
  • The song describes the Komodo dragon as "the largest living reptile". However, this is incorrect - the largest living reptile is actually the saltwater crocodile, although the Komodo dragon is the largest living lizard.
