Cassandra Monique Batie, better known as Andra Day, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. An R&B-Soul singer, she debuted with her 2015 album Cheers to the Fall. As an actress, she has acted in projects, such as Marshall, The Deliverance, and Bel Air.
For Disney, she voiced Sweet Tea in the 2017 Disney/Pixar film Cars 3. She also plays Athena in Percy Jackson and the Olympians. For Hulu, she played Billie Holiday in The United States vs. Billie Holiday.
