Copic Marker Benelux - Een dochter!

Hoi allemaal!

Liefs, Sandra

Happy Anniversary

Hi All,

Today I have a new project to share with you all! I was asked to made a gift for a couple who are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. I decided to make a bookcard, and this is the result.

The papers I used are by My Minds Eye, and all edges are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.
Let me show you a close-up of my colored image.
The image I used is by Mo Manning, and is called Young Love. You can purchase the image here.
I used my Copic Markers to color the image, and I used the following colors.
Skin: E50, E51, E53
Pinks: R81, R83, R85, R89
Greys: C3, C5, C7
Bench: E33, E35
Grass: G43, G46, YG67
The sentiment I used is from a set from Nicole Verkooijen, and it is in Dutch. It says Congratulations on your wedding day.
I used some vintage lace to tie a bow, and I added a clock charm underneath it.
Of course I couldn't help myself, so I made a flower bouquet with some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. I also added some flatback pearls to finish the flowerpiece.
Here are some pictures of the inside of the bookcard.

That was it for today, I hope you all like it.
See you next time!

Congratulations on your graduation! - Red Carpet Studio Challenge

Hi all!

Welcome to a new challenge at Red Carpet Studio! This week it's the Card Design Teams turn to host a challenge, so we want to see some cards!
This week we are inspired by the movie The Graduate, so we want to see some graduationcards! Perfect for this time of the year!

We also have a fabulous sponsor for this challenge, QKR-Stampede is offering 5 images of the winners choice! That is so generous!
Just click on the banner below to go to their shop!

Before I show you my card, I must tell you, it's pretty Clean & Simple, so do not be too shocked, I warned you!
Clean and Simple is totally not my style, but I like how this turned out! I was quite inspired by a lot of CAS cards I saw recently and I wanted to try it out.
The image I used is by Mo Manning, and is perfect for this challenge. This graduation girl is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following markers.
Skin: E50, E51, E53
Hair: E55, E57
Clothes: C3, C5, C7
Shoes: R27, R29
I embossed my cardfront with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, and used some red ribbon from my stash.
The image is matted on some black cardstock, and the sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiment is from the Congratulations sentiment set by AmyR, and I adore all her sentimentsets!

That was it for today, I hope you all like it! Now pop over to Red Carpet Studio and join us with your graduatution cards!

I would love to enter the following challenges:
A Gem of A Challenge - Emboss it

You stole my heart - Drunken Stampers Challenge

Hi all!

Are you ready for a Bahama Mama? No? Well, you better be!! Cause it is team Bahama Mama's turn at Drunken Stampers to host a new challenge! This week we are inspired by the movie Twilight, so we want to see some projects based on the movie, or creatures of the night!
DS124

This is my project.
I was a bit worried about this card, because my card is based on a creature of the night, but I wasn 't completely sure a thief is a creature of the night. Especially not with the laugh on his face! But then I got full approval by the other Bahama Mama's AND Mignight Margaritha's, so I decided to give it a go, and this is the result!
Here is a close-up of my colored image. The image I used is by Mo Manning. It used to be a freebie for Valentine, but is now available for purchase here. I used my Copics to color him, and I used the following.
Skin: E50, E51, E53
Clothes: E53, E55, E57, E59
Heart: R83, R85, R89
When looking at the colored image right now, I probably should have used a black marker to darken up the facial mask and the stripes on his shirt, but whatever! :)
The sentiment I used is handwritten and I also stamped two hearts on it.
The base of my card is made with CoreDinations cardstock. The DP I used is by Basic Grey, Little BLack Dress collection. The lace is from my stash, and so are the pearls.

I made two little flower bouquets, and the pink/purple flowers happened to match the color of my cardbase EXACTLY! I didn't do that on purpose, I finished the whole card and I searched for some flowers to go on it and I found these. All flowers are from Marianne Design. I also used my Martha Stewart leaf punch.

That was it for today, let's hop to Drunken Stampers and join us! But remember, hop in a straight line or you get caught for hopping under influence!!!

Hugs, Sandra
