Watering the Garden

Morning Peeps,

Gosh I have had a busy week with family birthdays, first my Mum, then my MIL's 80th, then my Son's 16th on Wednesday, plus I never seem to learn my lesson and allowed him 17 mates over for a gathering last night.  Luckly the weather in the UK has been so glorious that they spent most of it in the garden and only two threw up, is that a good thing? We went to friends and left my daughter and her boyfriend in control, ummmmmmmm something she had to prove she could do as her 16th resulted in the riot police being called, lol.  Anyway, all is good and I don't have to kill him today......

My card today is made using a Belle's n Whistle stamp "Watering" available HERE. It's currently showing as out of stock but if you email Teresa I am sure she will help you as to when it is due in.

I have used copics to colour and freehand created the background around her after being inspired by a card in the 7 Kids College gallery.

The clouds were drawn freehand again after wathing Annika's fab tutorial here

Ingredients:-
Belles n Whistles Stamp "Watering" available HERE
Papers are from Nitwits
Lasercut chipboard die flourishes are available from Make it Crafty HERE
Pearls from stash
Flowers from Wild Orchid Craft
Martha Stewart Frond, Trellis and punch around the page Punches

Have a good Easter!

Anyone for Lemonade

Morning Peeps and a Happy Friday to you all, and if your in the UK it's going to be a glorious 24 degress, woo hoo!

Well, I don't know about you but I am completely whacked! I have had this week off work to do some decorating and I am shattered. I have satinwood painted 7 doors, yes 7, the skirting boards and banister and my little arms are aching from holding the paint pot! There has been no access to my craft room, why is it that everyone see's my craft room as the dumping ground. Good job I was organised with my card for this week prior to the bomb hitting.

My hands are like prunes from washing the paint off. For some reason at the end of Day 1 I thought it would be a good idea to squeeze my little roller out in the sink, ummmmmm, it was like I was wearing white gloves up to my elbows and ummmmmm satinwood paint, whoops, this doesn't come off with a bit of fairy, oh no, so I went to turn the tap off, whoops, tap now covered. This went on for a while until I found the turps. Anyway for some strange reason I had forgotton all about this last night, on Day 2, and I did it all over again, lol. It's a good job my painting is better than my clearing up. Anyway enough of boring you, here's my card for today. She is from Belles and Whistles and is called "Anyone for Lemonade", available from Teresa at Crafts and Me. I love these stamps.

The Design papers are Basic Grey, distressed with my making memories tool and inked with Walnut Stain distress ink.  I then added star dust stickles. The image is coloured using my gorgeous copic markers, just love these.  I made the flowers using several different punches and again added walnut stain distress ink and stickles and a little button to two of the centres.  The leaves are cut with Quickutz and again distressed and stickled.  I have added little flat back pearls from  my stash which I have coloured using my copic pen.

Have a good weeken everyone.

Belles and Whistles "Cupcake"

Morning Peeps,

Gosh we have had a fantastic start to the Crafts and Me Challenge Blog! We have 119 followers already and in one week over 76 entries and there is still one week to go. So if you haven't already entered and you would like to, the theme is Fairie's or Wings. You have certainly kept us busy

Today I am going to show you one of the Belles n' Whistles Stamps, "Cupcake". I fell in love with this stamp and had her sitting on my table for around two months now and just haven't had the time to ink her up, but as it was Easter weekend, I had a little extra time to play. I did intend to do loads of crafting but typically I had the time but my mojo up and left! Teresa does stock this stamp but it is currently out of stock, but I'm sure if you email her, she will let you know when they are due back in.

I have coloured her in using copics. All the design papers are basic grey and the border punch that I used was Martha Stewart and also available right here from Crafts and Me. The leaf punch is another Martha Stewart punch, "frond", and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Have a good weekend everyone especially those attending Alexandra Palace.......have fun!
